APREL are pleased to announce the release of EM-ISight-2. This new system release means that EM-ISight will cover frequencies from 10kHz to 20GHz using our proprietary single probe solution. Current users of the EM-ISight-1 (6GHz version) will be able to upgrade their system to version 2.

APREL are pleased to announce the first sale of EM-ISight-2 in Northern California. This project is a direct result from our partnership with ComplyTek (San Diego) and TechDream (Cupertino). APREL will be unveiling the EM-ISight-2 at the open house being hosted by Tech-Dream and EMT Labs on the 23rd and 24th of February.

“EMC Open House at EMT Labs” event will take place on February 23-24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at EMT Labs. The open house is free to attend and lunch will be provided to lunch workshop participants.
We are honored to have Stuart Nicol with APREL as our guest speaker. He will be presenting “Test Applications Using an Automated Near Field Detection System”. In addition APREL shall demonstrate the features and functions of the EM-ISight-2 automated near field scanning system which will operate from 10kHz to 20GHz. The demonstrations shall be made using applications relevant to research, test, measurement and design optimization. EM-ISight-2 shall incorporate the latest version of the Tektronix RSA6120A real time spectrum analyzer where a complete demonstration of unique features included in the APREL EM-ISight software package shall be shown. Also we will have Yoshi Fukawa from TechDream speaking “EMI Reduction Methodology using EMIStream”.

EM-ISight will have an upgrade module released Q1 2012 to expand the frequency range up to 20GHz based on a single probe solution. The upgrade will involve software, additional probe calibrations and a new micro Stripline for self calibration and system verification. APREL are the only near-field system manufacturer to provide a single probe solution for tests in the frequency range of 10kHz to 20GHz. APREL are pleased to announce EM-ISight Maior is now available for order. The Maior line up provides options for scanning volumes of (800 x 800 x 700mm),
( 950 x 950 x 800mm) or (1,200 x 1,200 x 1,100mm). A preview of the new system is available on YouTube.

APREL are pleased to announce a new agent to our current list of representation in Asia. Burgeon Instrument Company Ltd with headquarters in Taiwan have been operating in the field of instrumentation and automated test system solutions for over 32 years and are very well respect throughout China and Taiwan. This new agreement means that APREL will use Burgeon’s experienced engineers to assist in support, installation and services locally in both Taiwan and in many provinces of China. Burgeon have offices in the main high technology hub’s in both Taiwan and China. This new relationship will allow our customers to have the confidence that their technical questions relating to sales or system operation shall be answered in real-time.

GCC
APREL are pleased to announce a new agent agreement has been concluded with GCC (Global Compliance Co. Ltd) of Taoyuan City in Taiwan. By signing this agreement APREL have now gained access to a number of top tier laboratories and manufacturers both in Taiwan and Mainland China. This relationship will yield many new opportunities for both GCC and APREL. GCC will provide local dedicated sales support in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Taiwan on a non-exclusive basis.

APREL have extended the frequency range of the EM-ISight from 10kHz to 6GHz.

The unique design of our H-Field probe means that we have been able to follow the validated 20dB gain per decade allowing us to go below the frequency threshold of the previous specification at 100kHz. No other system manufacturer can lay claim to our frequency span nor sensitivity of -30dBm @ 20kHz when using the EM-ISight.

Additionally we have completely characterized the micro Stripline calibration tool meaning that we can have a measurement uncertainty of +/- 1.5dB between most calibration points and  by using interpolation between calibrated frequency points the user can further reduce this measurement uncertainty.

We have now validated a mini EMC chamber which can be provided as an additional option when ordering EM-ISight which will provide even greater isolation for measurements from 10kHz to 6GHz. With the addition of the Tektronix drivers and being able to capture DPX mode data the EM-ISight is the strongest EMC measurement platform on the market today.

APREL is pleased to announce we will work with Tektronix to develop new drivers which will lead to a new version of EM-ISight to support the Tektronix 5000/6000 series of Spectrum Analyzers. The new version of EM-ISight will add functionality for the RSA-5000/6000 series of Realtime Spectrum Analysers to cover most features including DPX functions.

KTM
APREL is pleased to announce KTM Technology Company of South Korea as the exclusive agent for the APREL EM-ISight. This agreement will allow APREL to enter the Korean market with a strong presence through the relationships KTM have already established in this territory. APREL will also be providing sales support in Canada and the US for KTM’s range of automated products. More information is to follow.
