The company has an immediate opening in its compliance laboratory
for a technologist/engineer with experience
in EMI/EMC and wireless device testing (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, WLAN,
etc.). Candidate must be familiar with North American and European
standards; knowledge of Asian and other standards is an asset.
Experience with both measurements and calculations/modeling
is desirable. SAR, acoustics, telecom, and/or safety experience
a plus. Knowledge of instrumentation and automated test software
and processes is required. RF and analog design experience is
desirable.
Candidate must have at least
3 years hands on experience testing to the standards listed
above, together with BS/MS degree in physics or engineering
for engineer position; 3-year college/associate degree for technician/technologist
position. NARTE certification is a plus. Training is available.
Strong written and oral English
communication skills, including proven ability to write reports
are required. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to manage
time and deliver within deadlines. Candidate will be expected
to effectively interface with colleagues, clients and regulatory
agencies.
